Large impeder cores for inductive pipe welding

Steel pipes are manufactured by folding a strip of the material to an open seam tubular shape. The open seam then passes through a high-frequency induction coil to join the seams by welding. Using a ferrite impeder core concentrates the magnetic flux and results in a much higher welding efficiency.
This 4-page leaflet presents our range of impeder rods in the special grade 3C21, optimized for this application. It features high saturation flux density combined with low core loss density.
